Sheets JV boys fall

The Sheets Memorial Christian School junior varsity blue team dropped a 46-10 decision to Fellowship Christian in the Eagles’ season finale on Thursday.

Copelin Hester, Zeb Leonard and Sage Leonard scored three points each for the Eagles.

Fellowship also defeated the Sheets JV boys gold team; the final score was not available. Tyrese Hearst poured in 17 points for the Eagles, who dipped to 11-11. Jake Simmons added seven points.

Sheets gold will visit Tri-City Christian on Friday.

Faith tops Sheets girls

Faith Christian School’s girls defeated Sheets Memorial Christian School 45-38 in Ramseur on Thursday.

Laura Blinson led the Eagles with 12 points, Faith Sallee scored eight and Capria McRorie seven as Sheets dipped to 8-10. The Eagles travel to Tri-City Christian on Friday.

In the JV game, Sheets girls’ closed out the season with a 38-14 loss to Faith. Blinson paced the Eagles with six points. Sheets finished the season at 1-3.
