Guardians topple New Garden

The Davidson County Home Educators defeated New Garden Friends 22-25, 25-8, 25-13, 25-8 Tuesday.

Emily Worley led the way with 24 service points for the Guardians, including 12 aces. Lynsey Tilley added 21 service points, including 12 aces, and Ashlyn Tilley had 10 service points and nine kills.

South falls

South Davidson dropped a 25-15, 25-17, 25-10 Yadkin Valley Conference decision to Gray Stone Day on Tuesday.

Megan Lambeth and Danielle Hunt had 10 service points apiece for the Wildcats.

Gray Stone won the JV match 25-10, 25-6. Destiny Hayes led the Wildcats with six hits.

Dragons roll by Yellow Jackets

West Davidson cruised to a 25-15, 25-11, 25-18 Central Carolina Conference victory over Lexington on Tuesday.

Alicia Middleton had three aces and six digs for the Dragons, and Carley Leonard added three aces and six kills.

West won the JV match 25-11, 25-17.

Trinity downs Westchester

The Trinity School on Durham downed Westchester Country Day School 21-25, 25-12, 25-21, 25-19 in a Triad Athletic Conference match Tuesday in High Point.

Westchester dipped to 7-2 in the TAC, 9-9 overall.

Panthers win big over NE Guilford

Ledford moved to 6-1 in the Mid-Piedmont Conference with a 25-8, 25-18, 25-12 victory over Northeast Guilford on Tuesday.

Amber Rosekrans had 10 service points to lead the Panthers, who improved to 13-5 overall. Siarra Walker had 12 service points and seven kills, and Haylee Leonard added six service points and 11 kills.

In the JV game, Ledford rolled to a 25-13, 25-11 victory. Amanda Myers and Lily Kernodle had nine service points each, and Allie Fischer added seven kills.

The Panthers host Southwestern Randolph on Thursday.
