Sheets nips Mt. Calvary

Sheets Memorial Christian School slid past Mount Calvary 6-5 Tuesday.

Geovanni Brown poured in three goals to lead the Eagles, who improved to 8-7-4 with the win. Jake Simmons had one goal and one assist, Brody McCullough and Jacob Sink had one assist each, and Mason Marshall’s goal proved to be the game-winner.

Sheets clinched a playoff spot with the victory, an improvement over last year’s squad — which was not eligible for the postseason because of age restrictions. The Eagles will host White Plains at 4 p.m. Friday, with an alumni game to follow.
