North JV boys edge Dogs
The North Davidson junior varsity boys slid past Thomasville 39-32 at Pete Jones Gym in Welcome on Friday.
Caleb Moore and Kennedy McKoy led the Knights with 12 points apiece.
North, now 7-0, will play at Page on Jan. 2.
Lexington girls bounce back
Lexington’s girls rebounded from a disappointing loss to Mount Tabor a day earlier with an easy 48-35 victory over East Forsyth in the Mary Garber Invitational at Atkins High School in Winston-Salem on Friday.
Alexis Fowler had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Jackets, who improved to 5-5. Jasmine Carter had 12 points and 11 rebounds.
The Knights will play in the NewBridge Bank Christmas Classic on Wednesday.
East falls to West Stokes
East Davidson fell 66-42 to West Stokes on Frlday in King.
Braxton Shetley and Cody Bowers each had nine points for the Eagles, who fell to 2-7.
East girls down West Stokes
Madi Hallman scored 15 points and Bayley Plummer had 13 as East Davidson beat West Stokes 54-41 in a girls contest Friday night in King.
Jordan Isom had 10 points, six rebounds and four blocked shots. Plummer had seven rebounds and seven blocks.
East is now 7-2.
