North athletes sign letters of intent

Several athletes from North Davidson signed national letters of intent Wednesday to play sports in college.

Andrew Mayton will play football at Western Carolina. Chase Mitchell signed to play football and baseball with UNC Pembroke, and Spencer Landfried will be a preferred walk-on at UNC. Drew Beaver also signed to play baseball at UNC Pembroke, and C.J. Rice signed to play baseball at Surry Community College.

Emma McGovern will play soccer at Lees-McRae, and Abby Ramsdell will play soccer at Pfeiffer.
