Dragons tame Bulldogs

West Davidson scored a 9-0 Central Carolina Conference win at Thomasville on Wednesday.

Singles winners for West were Brett Moore , Jaime Lopez, Alex Cheves, Nathan Little, Grayson Taylor and Cody Middleton.

Doubles winners were Little/Middleton, Grant Miller/Taylor, and Austin Beck/Alex Young.

West, now 6-2 in the CCC, 11-3 overall, hosts East Davidson at 4 p.m. Monday.

Salisbury sweeps Jackets

Lexington faced Salisbury in a Central Carolina Conference doubleheader Wednesday.

Salisbury won the first match 6-0, then the second match 9-0.

Ledford rolls by Cougars

Ledford romped to a 9-0 Mid-Piedmont Conference victory at Southwestern Randolph on Wednesday.

Singles winners for the Panthers were Rick Ydrovo, Jackson Somers, Landon McGinn, Erik McSwain, Will Harrington and Matt Hartzell.

Doubles winners were McSwain/Harrington, Cameron Maxwell/Andy Buchanan, and Ydrovo/Somers.

The Panthers, now 7-1 in the MPC, 12-3 overall, host North Davidson on Thursday.

Central topples East

Central Davidson turned back East Davidson 7-2 in a Central Carolina Conference match on Wednesday.

Winning in singles for Central were Levi Bruff, Cory Lambeth, William Younts, and Trent Younts.

Doubles winners were Bruff/Daniel Dickens, Lambeth/Collin Rountree, and Younts/Younts.
